Katee Monahan Named PICPA Young Leader Award Winner
Senior Manager Katee Monahan has been named a Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accounting (PICPA) Young Leader Award Winner.
The PICPA annually recognizes its members under the age of forty who demonstrate a commitment to the accounting profession through active PICPA or community volunteer activities. Katee recently joined the Women in Accounting PICPA committee and says, in the Fall 2025 Pennsylvania CPA Journal, "Giving back in that way is something I find both meaningful and energizing."
Jaime Aulicino Appointed FAS Group Leader
Congratulations to Louis Plung & Company Manager Jaime Aulicino, who was named leader of LPC’s Family Advisory Services (FAS Group) shortly after her promotion to Manager.
Her team works with high-net worth individuals, business owners, and family offices – providing strategies designed to preserve generational wealth.
Growth Continues in LPC’s Transaction Advisory Team
The Louis Plung & Company Transaction Advisory Team continued to expand with the addition of Senior Manager Greg McGuire, CPA, CM&AA in September.
Greg brings years of experience in transaction due diligence- including Quality of Earnings (QofE) reports- particularly in the industries of private equity, manufacturing, construction, transportation, and professional services.
Night of Steel Honors Lou and Lori Plung for Community Impact
Huge congratulations to Louis Plung & Company Co-Managing Partner Lou Plung & wife Lori! They were the Making the Difference Honorees at the 2025 Night of Steel Gala to benefit the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation Western PA/WV Chapter.
It got even better - before they accepted their award, a surprise announcement was made that the Plung Family Community Impact Award was being established in their honor.

On September 17, Louis Plung & Company hosted an in-person seminar at the Duquesne Club focused on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
Our Tax team delivered a comprehensive presentation on the significant changes introduced by the Act, including updates to individual, estate, and business taxation.
Light the Night Event Honoring Dennis "DJ" Loughran
Louis Plung & Company team members honored late LPC partner, Dennis (DJ) Loughran, at Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night event on October 9th at Acrisure stadium.
His son Matthew shared his story, and lanterns were raised in his memory.

Pittsburgh Association for Corporate Growth
Jaime Aulicino has been named Vice-Chair of ACG Pittsburgh's Future Corporate Leaders (FCL) Board of Directors! She joined the Board in January 2023 and will now serve alongside ACG FCL Chair Samantha Spitzer Sheetz from Waldron Private Wealth. Her term as Vice-Chair runs through June 2027, when she will then take the resigns as Chair for two years.

Louis Plung & Company sponsored a table at the Girls, Inc. Annual Strong Awards with Co-Managing Partner and Girls, Inc. Board member Lindsay Andrews, along with Senior Manager Katee Monahan, and CMO Beth Bershok at the Westin Convention Center in Pittsburgh.
Alzheimer’s Association of Greater PA
Louis Plung & Company attended The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to end Alzheimer’s on Saturday, October 18th. LPC also hosted an afterparty after the walk where Bindley Hardware Co. performed! A special thank you to LPC Staff members Raj Sidhu, Ellie Ewing, and Dani Blanco for setting up and staffing the Louis Plung & Company table during the event.
The Louis Plung & Company Social Committee is a group that plans and coordinates events and activities to boost office morale, inter-departmental teamwork, and achieve a good work-life balance, while supporting and helping charities within the community. The Social Committee was created almost 10 years ago and its members are of all staff levels and specialties from within the firm.
Louis Plung & Company team enjoyed an evening out at Fire Iron Golf in Market Square. A great evening filled with tasty food, drinks, laughter, and some friendly competition on the “course"!

North Hills Community Outreach Backpacks & School Supplies Drive
For the fifth consecutive year, Louis Plung & Company’s Duke Griffith, Joseph Repko Peyton Michaels, and Miranda Safran, along withJoseph Zovko, the Treasurer of the Board, delivered backpacks and school supplies to North Hills Community Outreach. This year, LPC donated forty backpacks and 1,000 individual school supplies, which will be distributed to hundreds of children throughout Allegheny County.
